Check out what parents are saying

Before my daughter started lessons with you, I had to help her with the piano practice everyday and she was often frustrated. Now, she is so independent and can practice by herself! And naturally, she really enjoys playing piano. We can't be happier!

Norene, Mother of 6 year old

You are such a gifted teacher, and I'm so impressed with your online teaching skills! You have been our sunshine during this rainy, gray and difficult month.

Loretta, Mother of 10 year old

My daughter learns so much from you and not just musically. Poise, presentation, public speaking, problem solving..

Frequently asked questions

Music & Online

Can online classes for music work?
At Pixical, our unique platform provides more opportunities for music learning than in-person teaching in a number of ways:
  • Teachers can direct student's attention to certain parts of the piano with different camera angles.
  • All the resources (Sheet music, Metronome, etc.) for each lesson are in one place and won't get lost.
  • Notes, recordings, and resources are available for after-class review and practice, anytime and anywhere.
  • Our games incorporate pop songs, points, and rewards, make learning fun for kids.
After having to learn on Zoom, should I sign my child up for another online class?
Our unique online learning system is designed to be fun and help kids learn. Unlike last-minute Zoom lessons, our curriculum has been carefully designed to use our platform in a way that will be enriching and exciting.
How is Pixical better than other online learning programs?
Our modern program combines technology and teaching in kid- and parent-tested and approved ways. We aim to make learning fun, and with small class sizes, teachers are able to personalize learning objectives and outcomes to maximize student growth and enjoyment.
What ages are the lessons for?
We teach children from age 5 to 15.
What type of curriculum does Pixical use?
We borrow lessons from the best piano books, including Faber, Alfred, and Micheal Aaron. Ask us for more information about this during the onboarding process.
We don't have a piano. Can we use a keyboard?
Although it is fine to have your child start on a keyboard, a real piano is preferred. We recommend visiting a store to buy one together, to make it a memorable experience for your child and to show your support.
