Frequently asked questions

Music & Online

Can online classes for music work?
At Pixical, our unique platform provides more opportunities for music learning than in-person teaching in a number of ways:
  • Teachers can direct student's attention to certain parts of the guitar with different camera angles.
  • All the resources (Sheet music, Metronome, etc.) for each lesson are in one place and won't get lost.
  • Notes, recordings, and resources are available for after-class review and practice, anytime and anywhere.
What ages are the lessons for?
There is no age for learning a new skill! All are welcome.
What are the benefits of Pixical compared to other online learning programs?
We have designed a modern program for the future combining the best of technology & pedagogy. Students need to have fun while learning, and we want to stay true to that objective. Our teachers personalise the learning objectives and outcomes for every student to make the pedagogy effective.
Do I need a Guitar?
Yes, each student will need their own instrument, this is so they can practice at home properly. Please go to a music store near you with your child to purchase your instrument vs buying one online. It's an experience, along with your support, that will drive the importance and will to practice. Make it a family field trip & this memory can make all the difference.
Should I buy an electric or an acoustic guitar?
It is a matter of preference & there is no right answer! An electric guitar is easier to play but your finger strength is improved with the acoustic. Electrics generally are more expensive at the beginner level as compared to Acoustics.
